Google primarily uses the mobile version of a page to decide how it should rank, an approach called . If a site looks broken, has tiny unreadable text, or hides content on mobile, that hurts how the page performs in search, even for people searching on desktop.
Crawlability is about how easily search engine bots can access and move through a site. If important pages are buried many clicks deep, blocked by login walls, or have broken links pointing to them, bots may struggle to find and revisit them.
Simple checks like making sure buttons are tappable, text is readable without zooming, and there are no broken go a long way toward both mobile-friendliness and crawlability.
